Now that you have chosen ICC Floors for all your flooring needs and you have decided on the perfect flooring for the rooms in your house, what is next? Once you have chosen your new floor and place a deposit of 50% of the estimate, your sales representative will handle everything. The material will be ordered. When a rough estimate of the delivery date is available, your sales representative will schedule a tentative installation date.
The day before your installation day, a customer service representative will call to remind you and will call the day of the installation to give you a timeframe of when the crew will arrive. The customer representative will also act as your point of contact for any loose ends that need to be wrapped up.
Prior to the installation, please move all fragile or small items in preparation so the installation won’t be delayed. Our crew will move furniture and appliances out of the room where the flooring is to be installed, but remember to have space set aside to store this furniture!
During the installation process, you and your family should try to stay out of the room that is being worked on until the process is complete. Installing flooring can be a noisy and sometimes disrupting process for homeowners that are home during the installation.
Please Note: We want to assure you that you are our top priority and your satisfaction is extremely important to us, but sometimes there will be unforeseen circumstances that may arise. We never fully know what an installation job will have in store for us until the old flooring has been removed. Sometimes additional material needs to be removed or the subfloor needs to be rebuilt due to poor condition. This is never fun because it adds time and money to an installation job. However, we are always honest about what we find. Our estimates are itemized so you can see exactly where your money is going.
Since our estimates are itemized, you can always take a look at each step ICC is providing for you. We offer our customers many services that can be taken advantage of, or, if you would prefer to perform these steps yourself, it’s a great way to save money.
After the installation is complete, you will want to stay off of your newly installed floors for the amount of time advised by your installer. We recommend adding felt or rubber pads onto the bottom of your furniture when moving them back into the freshly installed room.
We are extremely honored that you have chosen ICC Floors for your flooring needs. We are excited to help create your dream home one floor at a time. If you have any questions or would like to talk to one of our staff members, please do not hesitate to call us. Thank you for your business.
